Mustang Super Tour update
So I bought a new Mustang wide tour in 2007 about 1000 miles after I got the bike new, got it and I put 65000 miles on one it. Well I wore it out and replaced it with a Sundowner but the missus didn't like it because the passenger pad was smaller than the Mustang. Rode it for 3 years now and decided to buy another Mustang wide tour but when I get it and put it on the bike it Set he forward a bit and just didn't feel right so I sold it and ordered the Super Tour and its Juuuuuust right....I am 6'1" 32"-33" inseam with 14" apes and it fits perfect....I forgot how well it rode...don't know why I waited, well yeah I do, the price....Glad I did, I bought it from one of our sponsors Wanaryd and I feel they treated me very fair.

Sounds like your back in the saddle again (no pun intended I too had a mustang for years but it was a sport touring and on my new Limited it moved me up as far as height and forward, I also have some back issues and it wasn't helping any on that. My stock seat on my bike is the most comfortable seat I've ever had so I'll stick with that. When it wears out though, I'll look at the super tourer from Mustang. Have fun !

The Supertouring is our long ride seat. It's pretty good and the riding position just right for me. It got a little pinchy after 4 or so hours so I sent it MCC and had it shaved down and some memory foam added. Now it's more firm (especially when cold!) but the comfort zone has been extended out a few hours. No regrets.

I wasn't aware MCC could modify Mustangs...I thought they couldn't.
I'll have to call them again, thanks for the heads up.
I think mine's a little worn, for probably less than half price Ii'll bet they could spruce it up.
Thank you!

I think some of them he can't and will tell you...

Our seat started to soften up after 3 years so that's why I sent it to them. I told them I wanted it low, flat, and firm - like a Corbin. That's what I got. At 1st it feels too hard. But as the memory foam softens and forms to you, it's fantastic.

The seat is the next thing that absolutely has to be fixed on my '15 RK. I start getting awful squirmy after an hour, and 2 hours is the most I can take on the stock seat. Not enough room to go back, and I end up sitting on the hump between rider/passenger parts of the seat. 6'3, 35" inseam and miserable. If ONLY I could get back a bit, I'd be able able to wring a lot more performance out of the RK in turns, and hit longer distances. I have the Mustang Summit Super Touring on my wish list. Thanks for taking the time to post an update and your reasoning why you did it...it helps the rest of us on the fence with our decisions.

FWIW I just returned a Mustang Summit seat last week. For sure gave me more room and was ok for me. The wife found it to be a little too firm so back it went. She also was not liking the extra width on the rear seat. I now have a Mustang Super Touring Regal seat and will give it a try today. Will let you know when we return. Hope this helps.
