Would appreciate any guidance/advice on whether this is a serious problem and if I need to take to dealer or if I can troubleshoot myself.

Thanks in advance for any information provided.
Did you or someone else change your handlebars or switch housings recently??

Greg,
When I did a search on the things in the link they did not seem to be Harley related. Best place to get information on the codes is the Electrical Diagnostic Manual.
my 2 cents, I could be wrong.....

Here's on thing I found:
2010
MITSUBISHI
LANCER SPORTBACK
SERVICE MANUAL

Thanks and I appreciate all the info. I checked out the links provided and got info on the error codes. I think I'm going to go and get the electronic diagnostic manual and see if I can troubleshoot myself before going to the dealer
