Default Front left brake woes on 2010 RGC

Bought a new tire, rim, and w/ rotors already mounted. Brand new...Re-installed the calipers an immediately noticed the bike was difficult to roll. Checked and rechecked. Could not get the left caliper to release. Bought and installed new left caliper and both sets of pads. Flushed the old brake fluid and bled the lines. The original caliper was showing wear on the metal towards the top left of the caliper. I cannot figure this one out. The new caliper has a rub in the same spot. The rotors do not appear to be warped....I took the wheel off again and re-installed it...same thing...the caliper is dragging on the top of the rotor. This has kicked my butt for 4 hours...It appears there is an offset problem...but why should there be...The spacers are installed correctly...Any assistance or constructive criticism greatly appreciated....and before someone mentions it...The wheel is not installed backwards. The valve stem is on the right side and the tire arrow is going in the right direction...This is a non-abs system.

Are the rotors centered in the gaps of the calipers or is the one causing trouble full on one side of the gap or the other? My FACTORY rotors have little arrows indicating their proper direction of rotation. Do your rotors have a direction indicator and is the problem one rotating in the correct direction? Is this an after market wheel that might need modification for some applications? Any chance the spacers would up on the opposite sides from where they were?

silly question, but I gotta ask.....are the rotors the same diameter as stock?

also, I assume the right hand side is working fine?

ding - ding.........we have a winner. New wheel almost certainly has ABS bearings which are 3mm wider, no jam in the wheel spacer where there should be none (on the ABS bike) and guess what?..........clearance issue. Pull the wheel and change the ABS bearing to a standard - oh wait, the left side is the primary so pull both and install new bearings. See how here:
