PCIII Accel Pump

RE: PCIII Accel Pump
The accel pump mode is actually part of the PCIII not part of the map. Once it is enabled, you must be connected to the PCIII to make any changes in the settings. Once the settings are set you just click OK and you are done. Again this is all done while connected to the bike. If you run the program without being connected you can not access this mode. The accel pump settings should stay as set even if you load a different map also.
At least this is my understanding of the way it works. You can find more information at the Power Commander web site.

RE: PCIII Accel Pump
Here is how I understand the thing.
You have the ability to adjust the amount of fuel based on the throttle position.
For most street riders DynoJet suggests:
90% Sensitivity (TP)
15% Fuel Increase
20 Engine Revolutions
It's sort of like adjusting that four barrel on your old hotrod, except on FI.

How do I enable the accelerator pump, and what will it do for me?

There you will also find a tutorial on how to install and set it.
It increases your fuel when you"blip" the throttle. It is adjustable for Sensitivity, Number of revolutions and % of fuel increase.
The tutorial does a real good job of explaining all this.
