07 Ultra Classic floorboard problem
My right side rider's floorboard keeps sagging down in the rear. It's been adjusted twice by the dealer and srill loosens up. The last time I tried to tighten it on the road I couldn't because they had replaced the allen bolts with hex and I didn't have a wrench to fit. What happens is that the rear mounting bracket (the large square cross section one) turns the the rear (counterclockwise)
causing the rear of the floorboard to sag down. It also jams the floorboard brackets and makes it hard to hinge up as it's supposed to do. I realize that this problem is related to me stepping up on the right board when mounting/dismounting the machine but it's easier than swinging my leg over the seat. Anyone had this problem or know of a fix?

RE: 07 Ultra Classic floorboard problem
I am 6'2" 340lb. I always get on and off from the right side.
I stand on the right floor board with my right foot and throw my left leg over.
I have had my 07 Ultra since Sept. 4300miles no problem that I can tell.
I will keep an eye out.
How many miles did you have on your bike when you first noticed the problem?

RE: 07 Ultra Classic floorboard problem
It started right away NellyBelle. My right floorboard is low in the rear. If you look at the rear bracket there's nothing to keep it from rotating to the rear (Counter CW). When that happens the back of the board drops down. It's not the end of the world but it's a PITA. I had to put the longer front heat shield on because the heel of my boot was melting on thepipe. I'm looking at it again today to see if there's any way I can stop it from spinning.
