Default Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm

Ordered myself a clear Klock Werks Flare 15" Pro Touring shield a few weeks back. When it came in it looked good u til I got it out in the sun. The very top had some weird crease marks in it, and it was distracting.

In normal straight driving, I'd did look over it, but just barley. When going into dips in the road, I had no choice but to look through the it. . . That's when the imperfections wer bothersome. Living in PA, we have lots of hills and dips, so I needed it addressed.

Klock Werks have been FANTASTIC to deal with. I called them and they immediately sent me out a replacement. The only problem was it was worse than the first one, only in a different way. The top was real wavy and extremely distorted anything you saw through it. - So I called them back again, and we discussed my height at my riding position, and they recomended going with the next height down, the 12" Pro Touring. Again they were GREAT, and shipped me out a 12" Pro, and even let me choose to change it up to a tinted version. They said if the 12 isn't enough, to let them know, and they will get me a 15" out with "hopefully no imperfections.

I got the 12" today, and it looks great on the bike, and there doesn't appear to be any weird imperfections with it. Unfortunately I couldn't test it out tonight, as is is raining buckets and pretty cold out.

I gotta say, it's a rare company that will go above and beyond the call of duty for me to make sure I am a happy customer, so I need to give a kudos to them, and their business practice!

Anyway, it's on, and here are a few pics. Can't wait to get it out for a spin and see if it gives me what I need.

If I were buying a new bike today, it would be exactly like yours, a black RGU.

Beautiful bike!

Got some miles on the new shield, and I gotta say, it is perfect, and works like a charm. I almost feel like it give me better wind protection than the 15", but I may just be crazy, LOL I'm Thinking with the shorter shield, the vents can do the job better.

Taller is not always better. My shorter wind splitter brakes the wind better than stock
