Default Almost lost it! Need help please

I was riding down the interstate yesterday, cruising between 60-65 mph and all of a sudden my bike started to wobble back and forth. I wasn't in a turn, it was a long straightaway. I hit the brakes and slowed down and it stopped. But it happened two more times before I got off the interstate. Any ideas what happened? I ride an 05 road king classic with laced wheels and 16k. Scary, but I'm here writing about it. Thanks for any input.

Also check your front motor mount, they have a habit of shearing laterally thus causing all kinds of bad. The replacements are supposed to be made of a better material.

Chheck your spokes for tightness, and be sure your tires are properly inflated

Check:
Spokes
Neck bearings
Swingarm/rear motor mount shaft
Front mount
Front of bike is a double heim joint linkage gizzy, the proper name escapes me now, there is another one above the horn and below the tank.
Look over your tires.Check pressure.
Shock mounts.

Most of the time you will find something out of spec there. I probably forgot something.....

Check the tires for pressure. If OK, in all seriousness, I would trailer it to a local Harley dealer and tell him.

I inflated my tires just before my ride 40 front and 40 rear.

check that all the spokes are tight. The spokes on laced wheels will get loose and can cause problems.

check your swing arm bushings, its an 05 are they original? I had glide pro bushings and whenever I changed lanes the bike would wobble like hell. Found out the bushing separated from the metal core of the bushing. Even if you only have HD ones check them. Pull the plugs off and look at the condition of the bushing, Id also drop the shocks and see what kind of movement you get.

You have an '05 Road King with 16,000 miles?

I'd be looking for rust from sitting in a wet garage for ten years.

How the hell can spokes get loose when the bike hasn't been ridden?
