Like the title says will the newer 09 up exhaust header with its cross under header fit the pre 09 , is there some king of mount underneath that's supports, I would like to install one on my 2000 FLHTC, and maybe remove some of the heat from the rear crossover pipe.


If it wont fit can you tell me why.

 

It will fit but you have to change the oil pan to the '09 and drill the trans case for the mounting bracket. S&S makes a bolt on head pipe, I run one myself.
