Wont start
Anyone have issues with their key FOBs when it's cold out? Mine started giving me issues yesterday, so today I grabbed my spare. Fired right up in the garage, get outbid the gym and no luck. It's about 45 degrees out. The fuel pump kicks on like she wants to start but the flashing key light as well as the blinkers keep flashing and no luck.
Chances both batteries went dead at the same time?
I never set the back up code and I don't have a clue how to enter it, is there a standard code to try?
2013 Street Glide.

you can ask the dealer...some use the last 5 of the vin
some use 11111, 12121 etc etc
the fob may not be recognised if there is alot of radio frequency stuff nearby.
that can be another HD, or in the US some guys have trouble at mobil stations with the speedpass transponder.
the fix for that is pushing the bike a few feet away.
every owner who has security should take the time right now to set the pin and know how to enter it.

Rather than keeping a spare, I'd just make it a point to change it every year. They go bad sitting around.

I find that after awhile, I can tell the batt is getting weak by how far away I can activate it. When new, I can stand at the back door-- 20 ft-- ok but as it starts to get weak I have to be at 8-10 ft away. I change the batt and go back to 20.
