Looking for advice from anyone who has installed Carlini 1.25" Diameter, 14" rise Gangster Apes on a 2014 Road King?? I am 6'3", and I do not care for the factory handlebars at all, I like riding with my arms up around my head level, and with my feet kicked forward. I am a professional mechanic and installation won't be a problem for me, just have to do my research and figure out the right length of cables, wires, etc...Those of you who have installed them, how did you like them??

 

The 14" gangster apes are going to be too low for you then. I'm considerably shorter than you (6'), and they're at shoulder height on me.

I'm 6'4" and I'll be installing 16" apes on my RK this winter. Not sure of the brand yet.

 

I have 1.5" 14" high Gangsters and they are shoulder height for me. I am 5' 9".

 

I really like the 18" Gangsters I have. I'm 6' 0" and my hands are a bit above my shoulders.

 

I went with Carlini Pist Apes 17". I'm only 6ft but long waisted. They're just at or slightly above my shoulders.

 

I'm 6 2" and my 16" are about shoulder height.

 

I've got Carlini gangster apes on my bar hopper 2011 fat boy, I'm 6'2" and I'm running 16" bars with 1.5" riser and I love them and often get compliments on them.

 

I'm 5'11" and have long arms (34-35 inch dress shirt sleeve) with a low profile seat on my road king and went with Wild 1 Chubby 18's on mine and glad I did. 16 inch would have been fine but they would have been at or below the top of my shoulders. I did a lot of investigating before buying and totally happy with the way mine worked out.
