No way with just "95" inch upgrade. My fatboy with mild rework runs 12's in qtr mile. A vrod can run 11's. I beat one, once, He redlighted.

someone was telling me he saw a road king beat a vrod at the drags. he said road king had a 1550 kit? id never heard of it before. what is it?
There isn't a RoadKing made with a 1550 that could take my StreetRod ina drag. The only way for that to happen would be if the vrodder didn't know how to race. Roadkings are too heavy. I ran against a 124 S&S softail and was able to smoke him in the 1/4. he had me off the line, but I still beat him by 4/10th of a second with a low 11.

All of the above is good information however nobody has addressed the issue of the Road King beating a VRod in a drag race. I find this highly unlikely.
I'm with him[8D]

I haven't taken my RK to the track but I suspect I'd run high 13's. That's assuming I could launch the damn thing.

Hey folks, this is a factory 95" RK SEI 2002. Its not gonna beat any vrod. But can take stock 88" RK's including Timex.

I do all of my own work. As long as youown a manual, some hand tools and you can read, you are good to go.
