Finally put an AIM VPC lockup kit in a few weeks ago and pulled the front wheel off the ground on my first roll out. No more clutch slip for me and I'm grinning from ear to ear now!
Yeah buddy,

I did the aim lock up kit also. My clutch leaver is like butter and no more slipping. If you don't like hear nosies coming from your primary then I suggest you don't get the lockup kit.

Same for me. I put Redline primary fluid in my primary and immediately clutch was slipping in 5th at any RPM, and a little in 6th as well. Switched back to non-synthetic and that didn't clear it up totally. Switched to the SE spring and everything is back to perfect. And yes, clutch was adjusted by my indy and by a Harley mechanic before switching the spring and fluids.

If you have 5 bucks to spare put in some Automotive transmission fluid. It grabs much better. My 127 doesn't slip stock clutches and SE added spring 135tq

And like SafetyMan stated the clutch is not adjustable.

The HD spring number is 37951-90, they have it in stock, I need to know if this spring will fit the 14s?

Like I said I appreciate the info and may have to use an after market clutch, damn there high$, but would like to try the heavy duty spring first if I can find out if it will work in the 14s?
Did you mean part number 37951-98? 37951-90 doesn't come up on harleys website.

Yes 37951-98 I was talking to them on the phone, guess I misunderstood. Picked it up today at the local HD parts department, they were still telling me it won't fit my 14 limited because it's no in her book. So we go online to Harley's website and it says it will, I bought it anyway and they want me to let them know if it works. Going back to formula too.

OK, just making sure. Let me know how it works when you install it, I'm thinking about putting one on my bike.

Since it makes the clutch a little harder to pull, would that put extra strain on the clutch cable? My bike has 98,000 miles and still has the original clutch cable.

Have all the clutch recalls been done on your bike?? I believe there were more than one???

Something isn't right, there's no way the stock clutch (if operating properly) should slip with your mods.
