Ordered my ROCKOUT kit from the website on a Saturday and had them in my mailbox on a Monday. I wish I could say the same for the parts I ordered from HD, took 3 weeks to get 2 gaskets, 8 bolts and a clamp (for the crossover tube).

Anyway, I have everything I need and will be tackling this project today. Looking forward to not listening to the sewing machine sound anymore.

I will give my feedback after I complete the install.

Have mine in the mail as well. I think it's a shitty practice for the MOCO to put engines on the market with horrible tolerances like these have and call it "normal". Thanks RockOut for an easy fix to their negligence.

Installed a set last weekend. They absolutely work as advertised. Top end sounds like a sewing machine now. Another happy customer.

Good suggestion, something I'll get to sooner rather than later.

In the meantime there are step by step instructions along with pics on my website... http://rockout.biz/installation-instructions

Installed mine yesterday, but have not reinstalled on the bike yet. One of my rocker bolts was pretty beat up, filed off the ridge on the bolt, installed the Rocker Lockers. Should eliminate that top end noise. Also checked side play, well within spec's!

I installed a set on my 07 SG. Made no difference. Glad it worked out for other folks.

Well, I am finally done. It took me much longer than everyone else probably due to the fact I have never pulled my tank and I have the crossover. That was a major PITA. I will be looking into put a quick disconnect in the middle of that crossover line next time I have it off. I also had to make several trips out for parts, lunch and some frosty beverages. Took an break and had some of those frosty beverages. I took my time, kept referring back to the manual and double checking everything as it was going back together. Finally done!

The installation of the ROCKOUTS was very easy and straight forward, followed directions and no issues at all. Once I had the rocker assembly out, it took less than five minutes to install the bushings and it was ready to put back in the bike.

Fired right up the first time and all I could hear was the thump, thump of my exhaust - beautiful. No sewing machine sound anymore! I let it warm up and took it for a spin an all I can say is the time it took me was well worth it. The ROCKOUTS ROCK! Thank you John and ROCKOUT Rocker Products.

I will definitely be spreading the word around Central Texas.

Bill
