I know there was some talk of the tiny holes under the breather... but who recommended the size.

Having said that... I already put my set in, and there was NO WAY to reuse the filter assy gaskets... I also replaced the entire assy with the "revised" design. It is a cheaper build quality IMHO.

This thread has the information. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...rywhere-3.html

Its recomended you drill .089 (#43 bit) but a little bigger should be OK too. If you have this apart putting in the Rockouts then I would strongly recommend drilling out the breather drainbacks.

Never heard of this product before tonight. I found it while reading another thread. Then found this thread from doing research. I went to Youtube and was amazed at the lack of installation and before and after videos. Why no one has before and after sound shots, I haven't a clue. I got a set coming and maybe I'll video my install and get my son to show me how this internet thing works and get a video on Youtube.

Awesome, looking forward to seeing it.

As for videos, yeah, it's on my to do list. I've been too busy making & improving the product. The instructions & the pics on my web page are pretty clear & straightforward. I can answer any questions you might have

I bought my Rockouts on Amazon a few weeks back. I watched and (kinda) helped another member put his in, mostly for the learning factor. Can't wait to put mine in.

A video wouldn't hurt a thing...

But for just ~$15 and plenty of positive testimonials, not an absolute necessity

But "party on garth"

This has pretty much been my philosophy. When I see a video, or a dyno test of a product showing big gains etc. my first question is who made the video? Or who paid for the dyno time? What I have instead is page after page after page of actual customers saying the product absolutely works. A comment from a user saying his buddy heard his bike after the install & immediately ordered a kit is worth a thousand videos.

If there is anyone in the SF Bay area that would like to get Rockouts installed free of charge, and do a before/after/during video just let me know. I'm all for independent testing and evaluation.

Thanks again to all for your awesome support,

John @ Rockout.

Howdy! Ex girlfriend here just brining up old ****!!

Did a lot of reading and looking about these and hell for 15 bucks.... WHY NOT! but, since it's been some time since a lot of people here have installed them... what's the long term results, and what's your guys' riding like? I've got a Dyna 96 with a 103 jug swap, mackie 575 Cams, and a beautiful dyno tuned sheet... I ride with a club, and on the glorious streets of LA, and the ever-so-pleasant freeways we have. Daily rider stacking 150+ hard miles a day splitting lanes and staying in higher RPM's with the occasional wheelie here and there....

How do they hold up to abuse and longer term wear?

Tens of thousands of Rockouts are installed world wide... one happy tap free customer after another.

Also, make sure your 15 bux doesn't turn into 25 bux at the checkout counter, when shipping is added

John @ Rockout
