Bikerscum"really hate that name" DK customs price of the Rocker Locker is 15.95 plus shipping. So you have the best price shipped and offer the breather o'rings. Also, your way of installing them is probably the best.I installed mine per your competitors instructions and have had no problems, but if I do another set for somebody,I will follow your procedure.
I got the Lockers for $15 shipped and installed them with the top end off. Not sure why someone would do it without removing the rockers, it's basically 2 more bolts. For $15 why not give it a try, seemed to quiet the top end some but I also added 2 flats of pre-load on my adjustable pushrods.

How is the metal your using different? And how is the shape different.I know your recommended installation method is different. The Rocker locker shipping is free which you probably already knew.Just curious.

There are several ways to install the rocker arm bushing. When I pioneered the bushings there was no knowledge of how to install them. Our instructions have been modified numerous times over the last few months as we learn what works best.
We are in the process of modifying them again, as well as a new video describing it.
I have always said that on the bench is the best way to install the bushings, however there are certain bikes that the plate is hard to get off even when everything is loose. In these instances installing them on the bike is an option.
Oh yea Rocker Locker vs Rockout, same design; same material; same length; almost identical taper, I should know I designed both.

The design is not the same, the material is not the same, the shape is not the same, and you DID NOT design my ROCKOUT inserts. They have evolved over time from MY continuous research and development.

Research like this....

Maybe you have the other half of that sectioned rocker support plate?

Glad I'm not the only one. I never know how to interpret it, is it 'Bikers ***' or 'Biker's ***' or 'Biker Scum'?
Anyhow, looks like a good product so I'm off to order a set.

Yeah, understand about the name. It's the name I was using when I posted way back about finding the source of the tapping, so I just continued using it as a sponsor. Maybe I should see if they can change it to ROCKOUT.

Site admin can change your user name if that's what you want.

Hmmmm.... interesting to see that the maker of the other product has now just about EXACTLY copied my installation method.

Speaks volumes.
