An hour or so of ridin' is better than none. Sounds like a productive day, anyway. Hope you earned enough for some more chrome. That's why we're all working anyway, isn't it?

Been truckbound for three days running now. Pouring rain, and supposed to continue through tomorrow. Admittedly I'm usually an all weather rider, but the new hasn't worn off of my Fat Boy yet, and while I don't mind riding in the rain, nor even the bike getting wet, I hate the spotty look when she dries off. More rain predicted for tomorrow, so gives me a chance install my new risers. Supposed to be nice come Sunday, so have a ride planned with some guys from work. Gonna go out long enough to make up for the last few days of NOT riding. I envy you the one hour jaunt. Ride safe!

 

Just got off my 11 hour shift at the casino. Got home and the wife took off to work at the casino she works at. I have two young girls that I have to stay home with, orI would be out there with you (in spirit). Today wind gusts in excess of 50mph. I hate riding in that much wind. Blows all sorts of tumbleweeds and crap on the road. Suppose to rain here until next Wed. I am hoping to get a few rides in between the rains, if the kids and wife give me a chance. I generally ride to work all the time, and am sad to say that that is a bulk share of my riding.[:@]I would love to have more time to ride, but always seems to be something else coming up to distract me.

 

sigh.............12 hr workdays are a way of life with me.thought it would get easier as i got older but appears not. but i get plenty of ride time in. the lawn may not get mown if ya know what i mean, but baby hits the road.

 

10 Hours....Thats all you worked..... I'm lucky if I only work 10 hours on my days off.

Wait a minute................ I don't get days off.

I can't wait to retire from the Air Force in October.

I've been pulling 16 hour days, 7 days a week since February. I still have a couple months to go before I get a break.

I'm with Re' but I have 4 more years to go.
