Larger grips

Got the basic rubber heated grips on my Tri Glide when I bought it. OK but not optimal. So I got some 1" wide Velcro with the hooks on one side and fuzzy stuff on the other, and cut 8 strips about an inch and a half longer than the diameter of the grips. I wrap them around with the ends where my fingers aren't.
Works pretty good, they don't slip, and I can use any combination of them along the length of each grip. They add about 1/8" or so to the diameter. On long trips I change them around each stop. Two on the just inside of each grip, 3 or all 4 on each, take them all off, etc.
If nothing else, it's a cheap way to see if a larger diameter is for you or not.

Here is an inexpensive option ($15) to add a little circumference to your grips while taking out a little vibrations at the same time. They will slide right over your stock grips, and for me, last about 10,000 miles before I replace them.
I use mine over the heated grips on an FLHTK, and actually think they spread the heat out even more evenly.

Kuryakyn ISO is another large grip. I have never used either you mentioned but have the same problem you do. I looked at the Harley get-a-grip magnum but went with the ISO with the throttle boss. I have severe arthritis in my hands and the throttle boss allows me to relax my hand but maintain speed when I cant use the cruise control.
I went with the ISO on my 14 SG with the throttle boss. I had a set of the fat ISO's on my 03 Fatboy that were perfect. However, the new ISO's do not come as fat and my hands do cramp up. I need to change out my grips. Thinking about heated grips?

Agreed! I have large (and old) hands and love the Magnum Get-A-Grips. I've put about 45,000 miles on mine. If I replace them, I'll get the same thing again.
