Yesterday was the day
I have enjoyed my time riding my 2013 Limited, but after my first year of owning it, my wife decided to ride her own bike. So we purchased her a 2014 1200 T, great starter bike. So after I put 43000 Miles on my bike, including a 48 State IronButt ride I decided to get a new ride. Since I don't ride 2 up any longer, I don't feel I need the Limited, so a new Street Glide Special will do nicely. So while I was working the deal, my wife says "think I could ride one"...So Charcoal Grey for me and Velocity red for her.

Congratulations!
Nothing like his and hers matching rides!
Wife had a Dyna Low Rider. Tried for a year to get the wife to test ride a Street Glide.
5 minutes into the ride, couldn't get the smile off her face.
This is her second street glide. She will never give up the stereo and cruise control.

Nice looking scoots, congrats.
I finally got my wife to get on and ride with me about two months ago. Before she flat out refused as she had a fear from a low side as a passanger.
Last weekend we were with one of my bro's at Kokomo, In HD. We were just looking around when my wife sat on a RG and sat it up. "Nope, thats too heavy for me" she said. She continued to walk around and I pointed out a 2016 Street 750. She sat on it and said "Wow that was easy. But I'm not quite ready for it"....
I'm getting her closer and closer. Yesterday had her sit on a 85 Honda Shadow 750, she had no problems sitting it upright but didnt seem to like it as much as the HD Street.

Have her take the Beginners Riding Course. Utah has a state course and the instructor comes to town with a trailer full of 15-20 250cc bikes. The small bikes are easy to ride and a excellent choice for learning the basics. Then let her get on the Sporty, she'll love it.

Best of luck with the new rides!
