Anyone get the E-mail from Brukus about their pre-sale of the new hard bag lid conversion kit? What do 'ya think? Supposed to make the pre 14' lids lock like the 14-15' lids. Not sure how these are different. Might have to go look at the dealer tomorrow. They don't give a lot of detail because they say they are afraid of having the design ripped off. Wonder if they are worth 199.95? Going up to 225.00 after the pre-sale.

 

Thinking the same thing, Not ordering until I see the pictures or in person.

I got in on the pre-sale back in July. Still waiting for the kit to be finalized and sent to me. I have no ETA from Brukus yet...

I guarantee that I'll report on it once I get it. I'll even try to get pics of the kit and the install (if I decide to actually do it).

For info: I'm running HogTunes 6X9 lids, so we'll see how everything can/does work. I sent them pics of my lids, and a little while later, they emailed (bulk email) saying that the kit WOULD work with speaker lids, so we shall see.

 

Pics of that kit have been floating around on here and their web site for a LONG time. Looks like crap. It has another gigantic locking mechanism of the front side of the bag so you have to drill an additional hole. Unless they improved on it that is.
