Siren II - how keep alarm on longer???
OK, someone is trying to steal your scoot or more likely parts off it.
The siren goes off for 2 seconds.
So then the crooks are then very delicate removing your accessories not to set off the alarm (even in the most sensitive mode).
That is not a deterrent IMHO.
How do you get the siren to STAY ON until the Owner clears it???
Don't see that in the manual???
Anyone else feel the same way about this???
THANKS Dave H.

RE: Siren II - how keep alarm on longer???
I thought Siren II was to go off for 30seconds and not 2 seconds.
In any event .... What good is it if it can go off for an HOUR but you are inside a movie theater for 2hrs?
If you aren't close enough to hear it going off for 30sec then you probably won't be able to get to your bike in time if they really want it.
Also ... you can get the PAGER which does have a max of 1/2mile range. You can get 'beeped' for issues arising.

Mine will stay on for 30 seconds if you mess with the ignition.
But if you "bump" the bike, it is 2 seconds or less.
AGREE: you gotta get the pager - a necessity and it works slick.
But I was just thinking if there was a thug molesting your scoot, if the siren stayed on for at least a couple minutes, he'd be long gone.
But a 2 second alarm could actually help the criminals - especially if you DON'T have the pager. They know it is armed, and take it easy not to set it off.
THERE HAS GOT TO BE A WAY TO ADJUST THIS THING TO MAKE IT LONGER LASTING - SOMEBODY OUT THERE KNOWS!!!!
THANKS.

I have the Pager Dave.
I guess my reasoning was to get an alert if someone was trying to steal the bike itself or use it as a carnival ride. Then I could react.
I didn't expect it to deter the dedicated crack-head looking to steal stuff off it.
If a thief wants something, their is no alarm system going to deter them no matter how long it blairs.
Thiefs Suck!!
