Default Vance and Hines Monster Square pipes.

Been thinking about some new pipes for my 14 Limited. I like the looks of the Monster Square pipes but can't find a bike around here that has them on it. I really hate to by pipes without hearing them first, but may have to. Anyone heard these? Wondering how they sound compared to stock. Much louder, deeper, etc???

I have the monster ovals (They look square) on my bike and love them, they have a deeper sound and I still hear my radio on the highway. I actually set of a lot of car alarms because of the deep tone as compared to the super trapp pipes I had before which were quiet at idle and too loud at highway speeds.
If you are going from stock I think you would like them, If you are a open pipe guy not so much.

Sounds good Knight. I'm not looking for louder, just a little deeper with better looks than stock. Thanks for the input!

Put mine on when I picked up the bike in 2013

Not much louder, but much deeper. Has a V8 kind of rumble to them.

This spring I installed the V&H power duals, and really love the rumble now (and the cooler right leg)

I can putter out the driveway and not wake up the neighbors (unless I really bring up the revs)

Out on the highway, no drone, no annoying crackle, just a nice rumble. Can listen to the stereo easily.

Buddy of mine is getting a set for his (bought used bike with Rineharts, and wants them off)

guess we are getting older now!

That sounds like what I'm looking for....deeper not louder. And a lot better looking. Found them on eBay for $715. That's the best price I've seen so far. Still costly!!

I have em on my 15RK - GREAT pipes, sound and look awesome but not too loud. Great at a distance too that the sound doesnt rattle your brain.. I use em with the dresser dual headers. Great combo. You tube and V&H have videos w/sound

thanks for the kind words.

The wife rides right behind me, just to the right and she says the sound is fine.

If they were too loud, I would definitely hear about it!

I really like the way they fill in the space under the bags and each side of the fender.

the last 2 bikes I had, ended up doing the whole extended bags and extended wide fender.

Just wanted something a little simpler. Always worried about hard cornering and speed bumps with the other bikes.

I too like the way they fill up space under the bags. But I swore I WAS NOT spending much on this bike.......here we go! LOL

I'm also kinda enjoying the quieter ride. If I had another bike I'd go loud. Maybe in the future.....got the fever for a Fatboy here lately, only as a second bike tho. But the funds say NO.
