Default oil carry over

are people still having this issue with the 14,15 and 16 year models ? had my air filter cover off on my 15 and see that they have routed the breather hoses differently. looks like it would be really easy to rerout them now. anyone have pic's of how they have done theirs with the stock cover ? i'm wondering if it's even needs to be done on the new bikes.

===================

Even if the nrewer bikes only produce a little hot oil mist carryover into intake/air cleaner its still a good idea to re-rout crankcase breather to keep the hot oil air out of the intake .

The motors combustion is much cleaner when it doesnt have to ingest / burn / combust heated air with a small amount of oil mist thats coming from the crankcase.

And i have noticed the amount of oil mist coming from the crankcase breather is worse at times with syn oil then with std dino of same quality lvl .
Now that may be due to syn oil thinning a bit more making it a bit easier for syn oil to get into crankcase ventilation system then std dino of same visc / grade can that doesn't thin as much.

And i have seen the same thing when it comes to oil pressure on hot days with car or motorcycle where oil pressure it a bit lower with syn vs std dino too because it seems syn can thin more when hot then std dino under normal driving cond.

But in extreme conditions like where maybe the motor over heats and is still being run/car still being driven thats where a good quality syn oil can save the motor where the std dino would eventually fail being pushed past it's design limit.

I have crankcase breather vented to outside air using DKustoms vent kit and when i run std dino the filter on end of crankcase breather hose stays relatively dry but when i run syn oil there is a bit more oil that comes out of the crankcase breather filter.

I work on other peoples bikes & cars (specialty is classic muscle cars) on the side at times too and have seen the same issues with syn vs std dino with some of those vehicles too when it comes to lower hot oil pressure and oil mist getting into intake systems when running syn oil that either ddint happen at all with std dino or was much less of an issue with std dino of same grade & quality lvl.
