Default Heated vs non heated hammock seats

Im looking to buy the hammock seat for my street glide. Im finding that there are more heated hammock seats for sale on ebay and are cheaper than the non heated seats. Why is that ? are the non heated seats more comfy that the heated one

Not sure about the difference but i didn't like the hammock and sold it on this site for a loss.
I also have a SG and the adjustable backrest bracket didn't fit right either.

I have a non-heated hammock on my Road King for when I ride two-up with the wife. She loves it and I can ride all day on it without any discomfort. It does sit me higher on the bike though because of the extra cushion/suspension of the seat.

Any pictures? I have never seen one on a Harley. Saw several on Goldwings and always thought they were weird looking seats. Wonder if they look the same on a Harley?

I've had two heated CVO seats a 09 and an 11. The 11 is a hammock seat and I really like it. 3 years lots of miles and no problems. The GF also really likes the comfort and heat. Don't be afraid of the heated seats. If it ever breaks there are several heating element suppliers and the switch can always be gotten from HD if you can't find an outside vendor replacement. The only issue on hammock seats is they are about an inch taller. But I'll trade that for the all day comfort.
