Default BT 2180 install

I ordered up a BT2180 kit for my 2015 RGS and finally got around to putting it in this past weekend. Seems to be a really nice kit and some good quality parts. I flipped the radio on to check everything worked before sending it to the dealer for the flash and I'm very impressed. Can't wait to get it back.

There. Doesn't seem to be too much on here for information on the system so I thouh I would share a few things.

1. The instructions with the kit kind of start in the middle of the install. They mentioned removing the outer faring and install the bracket for the amp. After a few minuets of where the heck are they talking about mounting this i started digging for access. First pulled the radio, couldn't get in there, then tried to pull the radio bracket and in the midst of this I pulled the headlight out and that was all I needed. No need to remove the radio, just the headlight.

2. On the road glide there are plugs in the outside of the speaker boxes. The instructions said to wire straight to the speakers but I wired the amp output into those plugs for any future needs to pull the faring apart

Overall pretty easy install and I can't wait to get it back flashed!
