WOW! This is awesome but can you actually work on it in there? Does the floor get stained easily? I would love this but I do use mine a lot for working.
Built mine 13 years ago. Had attached double in front of house. Built a detached triple in back off lane with 10 foot ceilings. Gravel alley so water/gravel etc constantly getting dragged in. Epoxy holds up great. I redid floor a few years ago as the darker color sucked up all the light. Went back to light gray epoxy , much better. During riding season keep my bike and wife's bike in front garage and park my truck and anything else I am working on (help friends with their bikes all the time). During winter mine sits in back shop with truck etc. I have a bike lift (1500 lb so it can lift wife's trike) ,big compressor, hydraulic press, drill press, welder , pedestal grinder, tire changing machine, lots of shelves and cupboards, beer fridge and huge stereo. Forced air heat in winter. Ceiling fan for summer. Although 1/2 my shop sits into the ground 3 feet so stays nice and cool most of the summer if you aren't opening the door too much. Walls are covered with bike related stuff but isn't a man cave, just a working shop that you can relax in.
I have a 26X40 garage at home, but it is so crowded I needed more room.
I picked up another 2 cars this summer, and have had to pay for winter storage
for 2 cars already. I have been searching for a local piece of land to build a barn on,
but that would be very costly. There is no room to expand on my lake lot.
Just the other day, I found this place, ONE mile from my house too!
I've actually been watching it for 35 years, waiting for it to go for sale.
They put up a sign, and the next day I went to look.
There were actually FOUR interested parties there when I showed up, had to wait in line to talk to the owner.
I made him an offer on the spot, and we are closing this week.
It used to be a service station back in the 50/60's.
The block construction was done by an amateur, but has lasted over 60 years with no cracks, so I think it's good.
The guy has done a lot of work on it over the last few years.
New roof, new paint, new windows, new asphalt parking lot, all new wiring with a 400 AMP service!
Last winter he rented it to a guy mining bitcoins.
I'm more than psyched, I can now have a shop with a lift, and more desperately needed storage room.
Hey guys...I'm starting to plan out how I'm going to finish my garage this fall. Was hoping anyone that's been through this could share some advice on things to include, not include, etc. It's a big-@$$ garage...4 1/2+ stalls, so plenty of room, but I don't need to go overboard (that's my wife's words). Love to hear your thoughts.

Don't tell nobody I told you this but my wife told me to check out Pinterest on the internet. I'm doing my new garage next spring and there are some cool ideas on there, just do a search on there for HD/ManCaves/Garage's
Run some hard air lines along the walls. I have seen people use iron pipe or pvc. It saves having a air line running from one end to the other or hauling a heavy air compressor around.

Yep, use it all the time and the paint holds up very well. I did take some huge scrapes out when a bolt got trapped under my creeper once, but stuff happens. I got plenty of touch up paint to the rescue.
