As gently and respectfully as I can, I will cover this again, and then I will give up. You do not understand the relationships between torque, rpm, and horsepower.

And, most importantly, all answers to the question "What should I do to my motor?", depend on your personal riding style. Keep that in mind.

Within the normal operating range, from above idle to around 5,000 rpm, the lower the rpm, the lower the horsepower. The higher the rpm, the higher the horsepower. In a stock HD motor, max horsepower is somewhere in the 4,500-5,000 range, and then the physical restrictions of breathing, etc., kick in, and horsepower will drop slightly as rpm rises the last little bit to the rev limiter.

If you routinely shift by 3,000 rpm, then the horsepower your engine makes means nothing to you, because you will never get to that horsepower number, ever.

If you do things to increase horsepower instead of increasing torque, the vast majority of those horsepower increases will be well above 3,000 rpm, and you're throwing money down the toilet.

If you basically never go above 3,000 rpm, and you want better performance, then based on how much money you want to spend, you need to do things to your motor that will increase low to mid rpm torque.

Your money is, obviously, yours to do with as you wish.

Even HD 110 CVO's are different in each family of bikes and years.

My 12 RGC CVO to date is the most potent stock 110.

It was 122 ft. lbs at the crank. 10.12;1 compression. Other have ranged from 103 ft. torque, 112, 115 and 118 from the specs that I have read over time.

Take the twelve Road Glide, de cat and tune to a proper power AFR, it flat moves.

I think your right on track man; cubic inches and the right cam make it down low, it's seams everyone is getting excited about showing their vast knowledge but I will bring it back on track as I just went after the same kit your thinking about. Dealer is installing the new stage 3 110ci kit while I am away working on some much larger 270mm bore V 12s to pay for it haha, anyway they quoted me 3035$ all total with install
