Stropped for lunch, reached down to shut off the main switch on the tank and the cover came off !! The pin appeared to have fallen out but at least the cover was still there.

I cannot find replacement hinge pin, can anyone confirm a replacement is available ??

If not I will hunt a roll pin down to try.

I am a shallow pocket enthusiast for 30 plus years so am not going to go to the dealer for a entire new assembly.

Anyone ????

FWIW if anyone cares I ended up not finding a roll pin that would work and ended up using music wire which fit perfectly snug.

I cut it to length, used a file to knurl the ends and coated with lock tite. Worked great.
