Although I am not as tall as you, (5-11), I have longer arms. With that said, I purchased Wild Ones' WO575 bars. They are a similar style to what I had with the OEM's but, with them tilted as far forward as possible, my hands are at least 2" higher and a little bit farther forward. Now the big question: I paid $188 for the bars on Amazon, $78 for an extended clutch cable, $154 for chrome Kuryakyn mirrors with built-in LED turn signals, $18 for a new tranny gasket and heavy weight gear oil. Did the work myself over the labor day weekend. Thank to you tube and my manual. Is the extra $250 a show stopper? I love the bars. Hope it helps.

Do you want to be comfortable or do you prefer to be in pain every time you ride.

Buy the bars that are most comfortable and the cables that are required. You spent a ton of money on a bike, it's not that much more for cables. It would be silly to spend money on bars and still be in pain.

I'm 6'-1" and did the 10" wild one chubbys. I was able to keep the stock cables barely. I wish I had gone 12" and for your size I would guess 14" at a minimum. As others suggested go with the right size for your comfort.

Being a trike I don’t want to go to high in fear of messing up the way it handles. I actually think the 8” Paul yaffe monkeys would add a sweet look ant retain the ease of push/pull steering. Won’t do the bars until next winter so I have time to ponder it.

I'd go at least 14s. I'm 5' 9" and have 12s on my road king with a seat that sits me a little lower than stock and my hands are a bit below my shoulders and very comfortable. At 6' 3" you might want to look at 16s. If you're going to swap cables anyway, why not just do it right? You may be happy with 14s, but are you still going to wonder if it's enough?
edit: Figure out where you want you hands to comfortably fall and go from there.
