What are the specs on the TW-999-6A?

With out knowing anything about the above the TW-777 still works well as a bolt in cam but will really wake up with more compression and heads. I'd go with the TW-777 and then later you can add heads or go to a 107 w/ heads.

If you aren't planning on spending the $ on heads, the TW-555 is a good drop in cam that will really wake up with the added compression of the FM107 kit. My Ultra has the FM107 with TW-555 cams. I've been very happy with this kit.

Good luck.

The 777's seem to work well.

I have a set of Woods 888 cams and love them. The HP is about 99 and Torque at the rear wheel is 110ft lbs. I also have a tuner, Rhinehart exhaust (4") and heavy breather with stage 1 air intake.
I don't have a copy of the dyno sheet but was giving one once the shop got done with the tune.
As for the riding experience of the cams.. They are great.. You feel the snappiness through all gears and there are times I forget I have 6th gear. At 70mph it's only touching 3000rpm and no strain on the motor. It will go from 70 to 100 in a heartbeat if you twist it.
I had the local Harley dealership install and was told that there was no effect on the warranty.

In stock bike I have done maps for a couple 888's. One was in a 96 in Dyna with some modified 2 in 1. Added torque cones and it did surprisingly well. Other was in another Dyna and later added 107 FM full kit. It did fine stock and really stepped up after the 107. Have done several stock 777's mostly in 103's and couple 110's and they also do well. Not much difference in performance in stock motor between 777 and 888. The 888 do lope more and sound better to me. To me just pick the one you want then when you step up either one will work well. 888 will beat the 777 a little as to the Dyno numbers as it should. Put a 30 tooth pulley or 49 tooth clutch basket gear or 32 tooth comp gear and hang on even before the 107 and it will surprise you and lots of other folks. Need a Power Vision or TTS to change the speedo.

Hey:

I wonder your opion for mine. I just got a 14 Limited with V+H Power Dualsm V+H big rounds, Arlen Ness Big Sucker. The previous owner had it tuned with SE Tuner but no dyno sheet. Anyway, Im liking how it "feels" and was stunned to get 48.5 mpg on a recent trip. But Im thinking about a cam change and Fuel Moto is close by. What I really want is your opinion on a cam. Im a lower rpm guy rarely over 4500 too shift, I like tq and hp but don't want to go 107.

I was a little worried when I read that 48.5 until I saw where you are. I got 46 on two tanks around Yellowstone and one 54 on the Beartooth Pass. Down south all I can muster is 44 if I behave myself. I too have a 14 Limited Stage 1 with Rush Wrath 2 in 1.
Far as cams for yours it really isn't as critical as you may think. Lots of choices. I wouldn't go to a 777 or 888 if not doing heads as it will hurt too much below 3000 with out either heads or gearing change. I will list some that I have done maps for here locally and not all in Limited's. The Rushmore's respond fairly well to new cams. The cam that comes in it is pretty decent already. Here are the cams in no particular order. Andrews 57, 48, maybe 54, Fueling 543, TW 222, T-Man 555 Torqster, SE 204. To be honest the 204 is the easiest on valve train as it only has .510" lift and the rest are around .550" and I would put some aftermarket lifters on them. Take that as a suggestion and not as gospel. there are several others out there that I have not had first hand experience with. The Zippers RS 527, and Torque Inc 561-1, and TTS T100 are a couple. Be glad to send you a map to try for the current setup and can send one for new setup. If interested send me a PM with info and remind me of this post.

Thx Mac!

For the rest of what's left for this season I plan to just ride. If I get a chance Im going to get a dyno run in just to "See where its at". And yeah I did a double take on the 48.5 as my 07 with a upgraded 103 with cams and head work putting out 98hp and 104tq could get only 41-42 tops. This 14 feels like it pulls as well as the 07 did but I still want to "know" what it has.

It came to me with VH Power Dual Header, VH Slash Big Round and Arlen Ness Big Sucker. The pre owner stated the dealer did the work and either did a "download" or used SE Tuner, however he cant find the tuner. The sales guy said his paperwork shows he got a tuner so I hope he comes across it.
