Doing cams now and FM 107 later. What cams to choose?

But, and this is a big but, will the new cams be worth a hoot if they are installed now, without the benefit of more compression, tune, etc? Talk to FM first, and get their input before jumping in.--- food for thought!

Thanks to those that actually tried to help out. Not really sure why some guys feel the need to come on here and argue. I am gonna do cams for now for some extra power. I thought I was set on the Woods 777, but then I saw the 888 and 999 cams. After doing some research it seems the 999 is too much for my plans. So I'm back to 777 and 888 cams.
I never heard of the tman 555 torquester cams, I'll have to look into it. Thanks
I'm looking for advise on cams not financial advise or anything else. If you don't have anything useful to offer, then don't post.

They also have a new 999-6a cam which Jamie has been recommending alot. It also works well with the stock 103 or the 107 upgrade. I am leaning towards just going with the 777's .

Woods cams like compression, which is usually more than stock.
The 777 is a great cam, but your bike may not perform well at stock compression levels.
The 222 was designed for stock compression and after that the 555 and 777 really like 10.5 to 1 and higher.
I would go with the cam that best fits your riding style and the 777 performs better higher it the rpm range than the 555
I personally like the woods 408 cam but the 777 is my second choice for the 107 with 10.5 to 1 if you ride at 3000 to 3500 rpm and above or the 555 for those that ride at 2500 to 3500 rpm.
Hope this helps. If all else fails, call Bobby Woods. He will set you straight
