If you bought new wheels, where did you get them and what finish, Chrome or Polished? If you don't mind how much did you put out for them also?

Too many variables to say what the cost is, and you'll need tires if you go with anything larger than 16" wheels. You are limited to a 3" wide rear wheel without major surgery. Chrome is way easier to keep looking nice.

You are not limited to 3.5 on older bikes. I have a 4.5 under my 04 and have seen a 5.5 with minimal surgery.

You can easily get a 18 x 4.25 under the rear with a little effort. As well as a 21 up front, if thats how yu want to roll.

Talking to experts will save your coin. Call hogpro.

Scenario for you.... I can see you have laced front and guess the same in the rear but can't tell. Point is, I can't justify 3K plus for front and rear but that is just me and my money tree isn't what it used to be. I will however say I have had my fair share of problems with laced wheels but mostly due to neglect on my part.

Not a simple question to answer! I have a 1990 bike with 18x3.5" front and 17x4.5" rear, but neither was a bolt-in. I used stock Harleys wheels, nothing flashy. Depends if you want straight-forward and simple replacements, or something fancy and out of the ordinary. We have several HDF sponsors who can supply custom wheels in a wide variety of options. In addition to Hog pro there is PM, Wanaryd, possibly others.
