Has anyone actually had luck fixing the stumbleat idle that comes from installing the PCIII?

 

im on that problem as we speak...it will be a few days until the weather clears here.....

 

Download the accelerator pump feature and try 80% sensitivity, 20 % fuel and 15 revolutions....fixed my flat spot

Be aware that every bike and every tune will be different...

Just a note to newbies reading this, there may be a stumble on a few bikes, but many many hundreds of us run the PCIII with absolutly no stumble at all with the pcIII, truth is ive only heard of 3 guys, this makes 4.

 

Make it 5. I'm gonna try this too.

 

Make it six. I'm not putting down the PCIII at all. My bike runs great. I'm sure it just needs a bit of tweeking. It my just need the throttle position set again. I think I have read that sometimes it might take 3 or 4 shots at re-setting it before its right.

 

Exactly right kdietz.............took care of my problem also. Bike just hammers out power right from idle! I love it.

The stumble is probably caused by the accelerator pump feature. Jamie at FuelMoto is dead set against it. The power on my bike is "right there." Love it. Love it. Love it.

I'm taking my bike today at 1:00 est to be put on the dyno at a certified power commander dynojet facility. I have the stumble but not all the time. I will post the results as soon as possible.The first question that I'm going to ask the expert ( at the dyno facility ) is going to be,is it possible that the fuel pump at idle builds enough pressure to turn the fuel pump off for a second causing the pcIII to shut down and restart? This might explain the intermittent stumble.
