Default 13 SG rear shocks

Have a 13 Street Glide and have Ohlins 3-3's 13" shocks on the rear. Love the ride, but for looks, I would like to get it back down to 12" shocks and not lose any travel. Current shock travel is 3 1/32 inch. Whats available out there?

Your shocks were built by Howard Messner of HDF sponsor Motorcycle Metal. Give him a call, as he can probably rebuild them as you want. If you are not the original owner of them, you can shorten them a little by (carefully) slackening the blue locknut at the bottom and screwing in the bottom eyelet. You will need to disconnect them to do that. Costs nothing, takes a few minutes!

Yes they are Howards creation, 3-3's. I have them adjusted to the shortest setting.

I had the HD Profile Lows front and rear on my RK to get me flat-footed. I think the rear's what was on the 13 SG, but could be wrong.

Just installed Howard's 2-2A (3 1/4" stroke) a couple months ago. Talk to Howard to see what he can do for you. Can't go wrong either way.

The 2-2A's have 3.25" stroke and are 12 1/8" long. The E series(#2) shocks will always(same/same) have more stroke than the D series(3#)shocks due to the divider piston in the body taking up space.
