I have a chance to get some 2013 wheels from a street glide for a good price. will they fit my 07 king and if so what parts would i need to get them to fit?

Thanks in advance

Only the front will work easily, you will need to perform some serious modifications to fit the rear.

You'll need either new 1" bearings, or a new 25mm front axel to make the front work. Super expensive to make the rear fit. Swingarm is too narrow, fender is too, drive belt/pulley alignment problems. The frames are different. Your 07 has a 3" wheel, the 13 is 1 1/2". I'd pass on the set of two, but the front will work.

Something else to think about, the front calipers are different. I can't say for sure if the 2013 rotor is 11.5 in diameter like the 07 is. In 09 HD started using Brembo calipers.

You have to use the '07 11.5" rotors on the '13 wheel.

I have a 19" I put on the front of my 01 Road King, rather my Indy did and had to tweak the caliper to make it work. There is a seller on eBay that will build a wheel for your bike and they have some very good looking wheels IMO. Colorado Customs is the seller if you cared to go that route.

I can build a wheel to bolt right on your bike. For your situation the simplest way to do this is to get a 25mm axle and axle spacers off a 2008-2013 baggger (NON ABS) assuming that the wheel you have did not come off of an ABS bike.

If it came off an ABS bike swap out the ABS bearing for a non abs bearing. This is the bearing that is grayish bluish on the outside and goes on the left side (sitting on the bike).

You need to use 11.5" rotors on your 07 so if that wheel off the 13 has rotors on it they are too big to fit with your stock brake calipers. If you want to retain 11.8" rotors grab a set of stock calipers off a 2008 or newer touring bike.

Enjoy.

Mr. Hogpro. Why does a set of Harley wheels cost more then tires & wheels (x 5) for my '03 Jeep? This has always puzzled me.

What do you have that will make a slobber and not break the bank for an '05 Road King. Sorry to slightly hijack this thread...

Each of these wheels is available in either chrome or our vivid black finish.

See that is what I mean. All you guys are the same price more or less. That is more then I paid for (5) 31" BF Goodrich Tires & 5 Black Pro Comp Wheels.

What drives these prices? Technology?

Just makes me sad. UGH.
