Over the weekend the girlfriend and I went to the dealer to try different seats. Believe it or not they have no demo seeds. What kind of dealership would not have demo seats. Anyways after talking to the guy behind the counter he suggested a limited low seat because I want to remain in the same position as the stock seat but the girlfriend wants to be raised up a little more so she isn't staring at the back of my helmet. We sat on a limited low and she liked it.
How is the seat for long rides? I'm sure there are better seats but right now we don't want to spend 500 or more on a seat.

 

We tried that seat, and although my wife thought it was very comfortable, she did not like the seating position because it put her head up into the turbulent air.

 

My gf likes the seat better than the stock SG seat, but she also didn't like being up in the wind. So I bought a LRS 11" ultra shield, problem solved.

 

Cheap ones that don't want to participate in the seat demo program from Harley. Take your business to one that does participate.
