Default 58mm Air Filter Options

Would rather have a wrinkle or matte black finish.

Looking for options.

Yeah that's what I have, but it's gloss black. Trying to see if I can just get a denim or wrinkle finish on one without having to powder coat this one.

Ness makes a 58 mm backing plate in satin black IIRC. Then you can use whatever cover you choose.

Does that plate funnel down the advantages of the 58mm?

Plasti-dip is a good option to coat the AC with.

Harley sells a wrinkle black paint that is easy to use and matches the wrinkle black on the engine case. It goes on smooth, but once it gets hot it cures and becomes wrinkle black. I backed one air cleaner backing plate in the oven to speed up the process. I was very happy with the finish.

It's not just a backing plate its the whole damn thing, but thanks for your outpouring of helpful suggestions.

Just send out what you have and have it powder coated in the color or gloss you want. There are tons of local places across the country that do it.
