Default Rodger McEwan oil temp gauge wiring

I've had my bike apart for awhile and its finally going back together. I can't for the life of me remember how the wiring goes. By chance does anyone have the instructions? I looked online and can't find them. TIA

I think I do. Let me go look. Sorry, I couldn't find the directions. Later today I will trace my wiring for you. From memory it's just a single wire down to the temp sensor that screws into the oil pan, and clips on. The other wire is the power and I just tapped into live wire under the batwing. I don't think there is any other wiring.

Power is tapped from cigarette lighter, other wire, black with red goes to oil pan sensor.

Got it working, thanks! The red wire on gauge goes to sender not power...
