RE: Rear Brake LIght????????/
I did the "bullet rear turn signal bar and license plate relocation kit," part no. 53702-04; bascially the same set-up as a Street Glide. Pretty simple change;the flashingbrake light is from a Kury or other aftermarket product, not HD's.
If you can reach the two bolts where the light bar attaches to the rear fender, you will have a good idea of how difficult the swap will be.

I'll tell you, I want as much brake light as I can get out back. I want to be seen. I have the HD kit that uses my rear turns as additional brake light and then I added the Signal-Dynamics flashing unit. 5 shorts, hold, 5 shorts, hold, etc..
The reason I want more brake light, I want to be seen in daylight.

FYI - I just saw an L.E.D. Brakelight Assembly from Walter's Garage in SC. I talked to them and they confirm that is INCREDIBLY Bright (much brighter than stock). Not sure if it meets your decorative needs, but maybe they have something that has the look you want AND the killer bright L.E.D. technology.
Have fun...

Has anybody changed there rear brake light assy out. From that ugle stock assy that is 3ft wide, to
the smaller bullet stylethar HDsales. If so how hard is it to change and does there brake light flash several times before it stays red???
