I have them on my '15 RK and they do an ok job. Stage 1 will really help with heat reduction and I'll be doing that soon as well.

They help keep heat directed to the rear cylinder.

For what it's worth, I have a 2011 Road Glide Ultra and took off the heat deflectors. I rode bike twice and couldn't wait to get them back on.. They 'do' help keep some heat off the riders legs... FOR SURE... Does nothing for the passenger... I also did a Stage 1, clean head pipe, VIED's, and that makes a huge difference in heat. Good luck..

Probly directs more heat to the passenger, its not coming up on my legs so its going somewhere. Some of its going into the seat I noticed its warm now but might have been before & did notice as legs where so hot. Wouldn't want to be with out them, I'm still warmer in front than in back.

I would suggest that you take a look at our Crotch cooler as it has a larger footprint than the stock shields. I can not say that it will help the passenger because I do not have first hand experience. How ever customers have told us that it does work for the passenger. Maybe some one can chime in here that uses our product.. Thank you Itch http://shop.captain-itch.com/Crotch-...hields_c58.htm

I am a happy user of this product and it has made it a bit more comfortable for my wife. It has also been the best accessory I have put on my bike.
