a simple google search on just ford and gm touch screen radio's, i'll leave it at that. Nothing is invincible, I think most people would agree with that. Not trying to bash the product, I think it is a nice upgrade but nothing is ever perfect and some people are going to have issues. what do the aftermarket radios with that size face cost? many times aftermarket price themselves just under stock replacement to coax you on over.

That's easy......next year is ALWAYS the best year.

09 in my opinion. Upgraded frame built in cush drive and last year of no cat in the header.

While there are no "best" years , there are some bad ones... If I was looking for a new tourer, I'd go '14up for the forks alone but a lot of other good improvements too.

By the post I'm seeing '12 seems to be a bad year with charging and comp. problems.

The Rushmore bikes are head and shoulders better than previous years...

Quite plainly recent bikes haven't been around long enough to identify problem areas yet, while older bikes have established the things we need to be aware of. Being in the happy position of not being able to afford a new or recent bike I can safely say that I would certainly go for a Rushmore bike, probably a Limited, the SG just doesn't appeal, bearing in mind there are two of us to get onboard!

Thanks for the advice guys. I have been looking at 09 and up. But really like the changes in the 14+ models.
