This! Check out the audio section. No need to reinvent the wheel...

the reason i asked about the Hogtunes kit is that it comes with an amp to power the lowers and leaves the stereo to power the fairing speakers.

i thought for $350 that was not bad as it includes everything ??

the cheaper options are ok but wont i also need an amp to power the lower the fairing speakers ?

thanks everyone.

For a little over the 350.00 you could add an amp, lowers, speakers, AND fairing speakers. If you're going to upgrade your audio might as well do it right once. Like others have said, check out the audio section. Lots of helpful folks posting there.

OK, now you got my attention!

Please tell me where I can get all of this for just north of $350

I am happy with my set up, but would do the wife's if I could get all this for that kind of coin, and still sound good.

How many speakers? And are you adding the lower fairing?

Do you listen to FM a lot? The best amps that are well priced may cause some loss of FM. If you are ok with that then there's tons of great options. If FM is s must there are some decent options out there.

I have added lower fairings (your last post said "For a little over the 350.00 you could add an amp, lowers, speakers, AND fairing speakers. If you're going to upgrade your audio might as well do it right once.")

I realize you probably meant (lower speakers) not (lowers, speakers) with the cost of amber whiskey lowers being over $350 alone

never listen to FM only use the USB stick

what would you recommend as the cheapest (and easiest) install with amp and 4 speakers.

What year bike? There's more room in the pre-rushmores fairing for the amp.

But to give u an idea of a system that will SCREAM. And you can adjust cost as needed.

A Soundstream PN4.1000D is 160.00 bucks. It bench tested at 220w per channel at 2ohms.

Infinity Kappa 62.11i Speakers are about 110.00 a set. That's 220.00

If pre 2014 you'll need 6.5 inch speaker adaptors for the fairing 25.00

Amp wiring kit - 10.00

Now if you don't have the pods and grills that's about 160.00. You could offset that with a smaller amp and cheaper speakers in the lowers and stil be in the ball park.

It's very doable for a decent price, and sound better than most.
