I just purchase a chrome backing plate # 29624-08 and was disappointed with the finish around the edges that are visible. Can anyone else who has purchased this let me know if this is normal or should I return it and have them order me another one.

 

I wouldn't accept that as a part worthy of being installed on my garden tractor ... :>(
