Thinking about trading my Deuce for a Road King , comfort thing - wifes riding position ! Any of you RK owners out there also own or ride a softail ? How's the ride compare between these two types of bikes ? I know I could use some more weight capacity as the wife and I weigh in at around 425 lbs. total, real close to the Deuces capacity , I believe . Does the RK , Ultra and the rest of the tourers have the same frame ?

I used to have a 2000 FXST. Nice bike for running around town but for touring it was really let down by its mediocre brakes, lack of cornering clearance and poor ride quality. My RK brakes, corners and rides so much better there's really no comparison.
Once you go to a king an d know what it's like to be the King of the Road, you'll wonder why you didn't switch years ago. Good luck and let us know which model you picked. I'm a bit partial to the RKC.
