Default RE: Road King - Handling

The road king is superior in comfort and ride. I had a fatboy and then got a road king there is no comparison. I ride with softtails and they always want to ride on back roads, every now and thenI like to hammer down the interstate and a touring bike is the way to go. I traded the king for a street glide. All the tourning bikes are great and by far the most comfortable. Your wife will love you for getting the king.

What would be a good Air Shock to use to smooth the ride? I have a crossbones and a bad back.

Default King all the way

I use to ride rice burners becuace I felt safer on them compared to a softtails. Then I rode a RKC and was sold. They handle and brake great go for the King.

Does the RK , Ultra and the rest of the tourers have the same frame ?

Thanks , Dan

The best vehicle I ever bought was my 2009 Road King Classic (my first bike). I just recently gave up my Lexus SUV in favor of it. That' saying a LOT !

I went from a Heritage to a Road King. I will never go back, once you ride a bagger none of the other will match the ride.

They don't call it "The King" for nothing.

Look Dan my Wife and I out weigh you and yours
by around 75 lbs. give or take a little. My 07 RKC
could NOT care less one way or another it is the
perfect bike for us and the RKC will be the perfect
bike for You and your Lady

Have an 07 RKC and an 03 Heritage and I gotta tell you, the ride on the King is definitely superior. It's kinda like a Caddy and a Chevy. Having said that, I also love my softail as it it is the perfect bike for in town short hops.
