Need tips for my '07 FLHRC...
Just ordered Rhinehart TDs, Ness Big Sucker stage I w/chrome bp, and a PCIII from Fuelmoto setup for this. Charged all on my CC so wifey won't see, too many boxes coming lately, I know she's on to me, but I'm constantly bobbing and weav'in. I'll admit to nothing, bought it all on ebay real cheap...yea, yea, that's the story...
My question...any tips for install on all three? Did search on forum and found some things. What are the critical ones to make install ezzzz. PCIII shouldn't be an issue, and I figuring A/C shouldn't be either. Exhaust is the main question. But if you guys have any on any of them, please let me hav'em.
Special tools, loctite do's, don't do "this" until after "that", etc.
Once these are on along with some other "tweaks" I bought, I'll post some pics.
As usual, thanks my wise baggers.

RE: Performance Upgrade Questions
the RH TDs come with James Gaskets. Nice gaskets for the heads.
I used a micro-screwdriver to get the existing gaskets out. Just be very careful to not scratch the exhaust port.
Also they say to use snap-rings to get the ring off the existing pipes for re-use (as well as the flanges). You can't really use snap-rings well as the HD rings on the stock exhaust don't have the snap-ring holes on 'em or good enough notches to the snap-rings into. They are more 'angled' edges. Oh I did get 'em off with snap-rings but took some patience so as to not twist/bend 'em gettin 'em off.
The Mounting Bracket which goes above the starter is 'backwards' in the pic. Doubt they have updated this. So just do a reversal of the bracket and you are fine.
Follow the instructions about loosely tightening down things. This really helps if you have to make small adjustments in things.
Your right floorboard has to come out and extend 1/2 inch. They have the parts for that. I found, even after re-doing the floorboard it was near impossible to get the #1 pipe mounted and to slip through the gap in the cam and floorboard. I ended up taking my floorpan off of the mount so it was easier to get that pipe in.
Good Luck.... I'm sure you will do fine!

RE: Performance Upgrade Questions
The easiest component to install would be the Big Sucker. The Rineharts may take a few hours, so be prepared! If you are not going to use the O2 port on the header and plan to use the supplied plug, make sure you use a high temp sealer on the threads! It will come loose and fall off if you don't.
