Look on the bright side, # 1 son is ok, #2 Its summer, #3 buy the bike and look for an old car for the winter driving. My dad didnt buy me or furnish me with a car when I was growing up. I walked till I saved enough to buy my first,second, third etc. car!! Another way to look at it.

I too and happy he is fine. BUT, that being said. Like I read above, summer is coming. Buy a bike now and enjoy it. Once summer is gone and the weather drops, buy a beater with a heater. That's all it will need. Just my opinion. But, if this crash has taught you anything, life is short. You gotta enjoy and live for the moment.
