Mustang. I have something like 150K on Mustang seats over the years including 30K on my current ride. Wife likes the passenger seat, too. That's how I bought my first one for Virago twenty-something years ago.

Mean City Cycles is an option. Check out the "Stock seat mod" thread in the Vendors forum. I have a ride-in appointment with them next week. Going to narrow the front, widen the passenger, with double memory foam for both. I've done several 500-750 mile days on my stock seat and there is nothing fun about it, especially being 250lbs. I think out of researching and reading every single thread on this forum about them, I have seen ONE person who said they didn't think it was that big of a difference, and literally hundreds upon hundreds of people who praise them for the quality and feeling. So we shall see...

Harley Dealer Demo seat program. Free, just ride your bike to the dealer, select the model you want to try and go for a ride. It will tell you what kind of seat works for you. Me telling you that the Hammock works for me and that the Sundowner was uncomfortable is useless information. Mustang, Corbin, Rich's, Mean City doesn't matter. Find the style, shape and hardness you like then select your seat.

I have a 2005 Road King and the stock seat was literally a torture device to me.

I did a ride to Laughlin from the SF Bay Area and was in agony.

We had a trip to Sturgis planned that same year so I knew I needed to get something done.

I'm lucky to live 45 minutes away from Corbin so I cruised down there and got a seat.

With the Corbin I can ride all day and have no complaints. The stock seat had my *** hurting inside of 2 hours.

The seat was $700 for the "Dual Tour" model with the basic black leather covering. Worth every penny to me.

I can ride all day on my Danny Gray seat. It's similiar to the corbin I had on my Triumph. Pretty darn hard. But that's the idea is to not let your butt sag, and throw your posture off. And after so many miles, your butt will form its own imprint in the seat also.
