a good wax will make clean up easy ( easier).
I use car wax..s100, blue shower any of those applied over a washed surface.
after a day of riding and bugs, wet a towel and hang it on the windscreen for 20 or 30 minutes ( like while setting up camp, moving into motel or cracking a soda.)
the bugs will loosen and wipe off
be careful which chemicals you use on the windscreen- some may eat the plastic ( bug spirits as pictured below ate the national windscreen on my evo bagger)

Bike
Bike Spirits all the way! I do a clean up on all forward facing surfaces immediately after every ride because bugs are acidic, and can pit the chrome over time. The BS as stated is great for all surfaces. I have other "specialized" detailing products but this is used this first. The worst stuff I ever had to clean off was sugary cola that some jerk held out of the cage window to empty the can. It was like hard glue by the time I got home and noticed what it had done.

I use the Wizards also, I carry a small 8oz bottle in tour pack for on the road windshield cleaning, I think it works pretty good!

I also carry microfiber towels with me, I get them in Costco.
