Default se compensator kit or spring pack?

has anyone ever just changed the spring pack instead of chainging out the whole se compensator kit? i talked to someone and they said they just change out their spring pack. they said the compensator itself showed only minor signs of wear but changing the spring pack gave them the same same result as when they had changed the whole kit. i found this out after i had already installed the kit so i wasnt going to take it out to measure the old and new spring packs against each other. yeah i sure someone will say if your in there you might as well change it but thats not what im asking.

Yup.

It's awesome to finally have a aftermarket alternative to the junk SE crapensator.

Spend the money cutting down that tail dragger you have on the back.

Having gotten most of my education about Harleys on this forum, I have to ask,"What's a compensator?" Sorry, only a brief hijack.
