Default Brake pads

Just out of curiosity, how many miles do you guys typically get out of a set a brake pads. I have a 2012 Ultra with 19500 miles, still stops good and by looking at the pads they look fine to me.

30k on my 09 ultra....not sure on my 09 ultra cvo....just 18k on it...I found some brake pads for $50..on eBay...they worked fine for another 20k...till I traded the bike for my cvo...depends on riding style also...

Just changed my rear pads at 25k while I was doing the tire. They still had a little pad left but were almost at the point of needing replacement. I might would have gotten 30k

Thanks AKO. My wife and I are heading to Gatlinburg, the BRP, and Maggie Valley ( going to try and ride NC 209 from Maggie Valley to 25 to 321 back to Gatlinburg) next Tuesday. Just before I take a trip like this I run through various scenarios in my head about the bike being in tip top condition, yes I am **** and paranoid.

Got a tad over 40k on my originals, life of pads really depends on how/where miles are ridden.

Check the pad, just like a car.

Mine got replaced at 23,xxx miles. I picked up the EBC's from Amazon for $75 for both front and rear.
